The Nokia SR OS Connect App provides a streamlined approach for configuring Nokia IP routing and switching equipment using an iPad or iPhone. The setup process involves a straightforward Bluetooth pairing, which facilitates quick field maintenance while minimizing the potential for errors. The experience of configuring a network element (NE) using an iOS device mirrors the traditional method of connecting a laptop directly to the NE console port via CLI. Notably, the SR OS Connect App supports simultaneous pairing and configuration of multiple NEs, thereby enhancing the overall experience for field technicians and simplifying workflows.

• Bulk provisioning of multiple devices
• NE pre-provisioning with scripts from the NE team
• CLI access when necessary
• Utilization of iPad or iPhone features such as location services and camera

The app is compatible with iPads running iOS 11 and later, as well as iPhones with iOS 13 and later versions.

It is essential to note that the NEs must support Bluetooth pairing. The following devices are compatible:

• Nokia 7750 SR-1 running SR OS Release 16.0 R4 and later
• Nokia 7750 SR-1s running SR OS Release 16.0 R4 and later
• Nokia 7750 SR-2s running SR OS Release 16.0 R4 and later
• Nokia 7750 SR-7s running SR OS Release 16.0 R4 and later
• Nokia 7750 SR-14s running SR OS Release 16.0 R4 and later

During any given configuration session, the SR OS Connect App can establish Bluetooth connections with up to five NEs simultaneously.
